Switzerland is known for her rich natural splendour and some architectural landmarks. It’s also called the most expensive city in the world. I’m yet to see a verifiable proof to that claim; in fact, I refute that claim. Many low-income earners have gone to Switzerland for holidays without breaking the bank.
Switzerland has the most beautiful views of the Alps and picturesque sites. It has so many beautiful cities that are headquarters of international organizations.

Where to go in Interlaken
What about Zermatt for Alpine views?
Zermatt is the remote southern area in Switzerland, famous for its’ Matterhorn mountain and has so many ski resort areas
Lauterbrunnen. This place boasts of great hiking trails and lovely waterfall here.
Gimmelwald – The most of the stunning natural mountains are located in this town, and the weather is decent.
Mürren – This place has more amenities than other towns mentioned, it has a cable car linking it to Gimmelwald and many good hotels. It has identical mountain setting. Many tourists feel more comfortable here because of so many fun activities and nightlife here.
All these places are linked by train, and it takes only 15 or 20 minutes to get to each destination.
Lucerne and what to do there
Luzern, as it’s pronounced locally is the other tourist destination in Switzerland. It’s surrounded by small mountains and also blessed by good lakes. Tourists cruise around these lakes. It has many hotels and resorts. This city is worth at least a day of exploration. It’s accessible by rail, by air and by road.
Visit Mount Pilatus
The tallest mountain around Lucerne is Mount Pilatus. It’s behind the central city, and it’s very popular for sporting activities such as hiking. You can use the cable car to go round the mountain to have a glimpse of it.
Visit Mount Rigi
Mount Rigi is close to Lake Lucerne and has a cable car to tour around it; the easiest way to reach the peak. A train that goes from Weggis to Vitznau pass-through mount Rigi. It’s a fantastic site to visit.
Visit Mount Titlis
It’s located south of Lucerne, and on top, it.you can experience the Titlis Cliff Walk which has the highest suspension bridge in the globe. It’s a 3000 meters pedestrian bridge that allows someone to have an aerial view of the entire city. The weather is decent and many tourists around the world like visiting this amazing site. You can reach this place by taking the 30minutes train from Lucerne to Engelberg; then, you now take the cable car to the place.
